§ First-aid kit (syringes, antacids, rehydration sachets, antidiarrhoea pills, antihistamines, plasters etc), multi-vitamins & a course of antibiotics – also, I swear by citronella (insect-repellent), tea-tree (antiseptic) and propolis tablets (antiviral, antifungal, antibiotic),

§ Deet – insect repellent

§ Anti-bacterial handgel

§ Water purification tablets

§ Suncream

§ Phone & charger

§ Camera, charger & case

§ Ear plugs

§ Travel alarm clock

§ Travel towel

§ Clothes line

§ Universal sink plug

§ Travel adaptor

§ Sleeping bag liner & pillow

§ Toothbrush with anti-bacterial cap, toiletries

§ Breathable clothes – for hot weather, some cover-up clothes

§ Fleece for mountainous areas / air-conditioned places

DESIDERATA

GO placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons.
